The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Wood River Valley has increased the number of support groups for adults and families in the valley faced with mental-health challenges. According to the organization, NAMI support groups are based on a peer-support strategy, presenting tools, skills and opportunities for people to find the resources they need to live stable and productive lives.Read More
For the past seven years, local artists in the Wood River Valley have come together to take part in an annual studio tour. During the two-day event, artists from Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley open their doors, allowing art enthusiasts to peek into their creative processes, chat about art and check out what the artists have in progress.

The Wood River Women’s Foundation will honor its 2019 grant recipients at its 14th annual Celebration of Grant Recipients and Annual Luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 7. According to the foundation, awards this year will total more than $267,918 and will be granted to 11 local nonprofits.
